Volant Products operates a machine shop that is engaged in three main activities:

  • Manufacturing proprietary products that are used in drilling and     completion applications within the oil and gas industry;
  • Rapid prototyping of new manufactured products for a select group     of customers; and
  • Provision of machine shop services on a project basis to a broad     range of customers.

    Manufacturing processes include conventional machining of metals and plastics (primarily utilizing CNC machinery), application of advanced materials as protective coatings, and hydro-forming complex shapes. To the extent possible, manufacturing processes are automated and computer controlled. Volant Products also provides field services to support their products, including installation, supervision, and training.
