Volant Multi-Lobe Torque Rings are designed with a unique non-circular shape. When inserted, the lobbed sections of the MLT Rings press firmly across the tapered threads of API connections to retain them in place. MLT Rings are engineered to fit precisely against API connection surfaces. Inserted into couplings using a simple hydraulic installation tool, they provide a positive make-up shoulder in BTC, LTC, and EUE connections.
