Volant Products Inc. Announces the Appointment of a New COO and an Updated Executive Team Structure
Edmonton, Alberta, October 10, 2025 — Volant Products Inc. (Volant) today announced the appointment of Brad Kwasnycia as Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting to Dan Shute, President & CEO. Brad joined Volant in 2014 as Director, Sales and Marketing and was elevated to Vice President, Operations in February 2024. Under the new structure, Brad will maintain the VP Operations role and oversee four vice presidents who, along with the CEO and COO, form the company’s new executive leadership team.
Sheraly Cunningham remains Vice President, Corporate Services, a position she has held since 2022 after spending her first five years with the company as Financial Controller.
Dan Dall’Acqua has been appointed Vice President, Engineering Solutions. Dan has been with Volant since 1998 and is recognized by industry and peers as an expert and thought leader in casing system design, with deep understanding of pipe and connection integrity challenges and how to effectively mitigate them. Dan has been elevated from Senior Manager, Consulting Engineering, a role he had held with Volant’s subsidiary Noetic Engineering since 2016. In this new role, Dan has an expanded scope that unifies the Consulting Engineering, Digital Solutions, and Application Support functions to deliver high-value, integrated solutions for the well construction process.
Martin Kaefer has been appointed Vice President, Product Engineering. Martin is being elevated from the role of Senior Manager, Engineering, a position he has held since he joined Volant in 2016. In this new role, Martin has an expanded scope to advance product innovation in the mechanical and electronics hardware technology space, ensuring new products are conceived, developed, and validated to meet evolving market needs, while existing products are sustained, supported, and optimized to maximize performance for Volant’s global customer base.
Duane Cuku has been appointed Vice President, Sales, Business Development, Marketing. Duane joined Volant in 2023 as Director, Business Development, North America and takes on this new role as part of a succession plan that will see Dean Yuill transition into the role of Director, Business Development.
This evolution of leadership reflects Volant’s commitment to aligning organizational structure with its strategic priorities.
